About ACQ Media ACQ Media is the in‑house media engine behind Acquisition.com and its portfolio of brands led by Alex Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, and Sharran Srivatsaa.

Our mission is to build the leading business media organization in the world by 2030.

We produce high‑performance long‑form series, podcasts, and daily social content that reach millions of people around the globe. Our content is not vanity media, it is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen brand influence, and create downstream business impact across the entire Acquisition.com ecosystem.

We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI‑native production systems.

We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time.

If you’re joining ACQ Media, you’re not here to just make content. You’re here to help build a media powerhouse.

Role: The Director of Post‑Production is the senior leader responsible for building, scaling, and operating the entire post‑production engine across all Acquisition.com brands.

This role owns the systems, workflows, and people required to produce high‑volume, high‑quality long‑form and short‑form content at scale without chaos, bottlenecks, or reliance on heroics.

You are responsible for leading a multi‑editor team, managing sound and finishing workflows, ensuring creative consistency across brands, and building a repeatable factory model that supports weekly publishing goals across all content ecosystems.

This role is also responsible for aggressively integrating AI into post‑production workflows. Not as a side tool, but as a core production advantage. AI must become the lever that allows the post team to move faster, create more, and scale output without scaling headcount irresponsibly. You are not just running an editing department. You are building a high‑output post‑production machine.

Reports directly to the Chief Media Officer and must be in Las Vegas, NV or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities: Post‑Production Leadership & Team Management

Lead the post‑production department across all brands, including long‑form series, podcasts, DTCs, and social cutdowns

Manage and develop a team of editors, sound designers, and packaging specialists

Set expectations, performance standards, and quality benchmarks across the entire post pipeline

Build a culture of speed, precision, accountability, and continuous improvement

Workflow Systems & Operational Infrastructure

Build and enforce standardized post workflows that reduce errors, missed deadlines, and revision cycles

Own all post‑production scheduling, throughput planning, and delivery timelines across all brands

Create clear intake systems so production teams can hand off footage cleanly and consistently

Maintain visibility into production calendars and ensure post resourcing is planned weeks in advance

Coordinate directly with Creative Producers, Director of Content, and production teams to ensure post execution matches creative intent

AI Integration & Post Automation

Identify, test, and implement AI tools that materially increase editing speed and output quality

Partner with Tech team to build AI‑driven systems for captioning, transcription, rough cuts, sound cleanup, b‑roll search, versioning, and repurposing

Establish clear AI usage expectations for editors and post team members

Ensure AI is integrated without compromising quality, taste, or brand consistency

Quality Control & Brand Consistency

Own the final output quality across all long‑form and short‑form content

Ensure editing style, pacing, sound design, and storytelling standards match the creative direction of each brand

Reduce creative drift by building clear post playbooks and review standards

Maintain a consistent high quality bar even as the team scales

Performance & Output Optimization

Build systems that shorten turnaround time and increase weekly publishing volume

Reduce dependency on external post vendors by building internal capacity and quality

Track editing velocity, revision cycles, delivery reliability, and post bottlenecks

Ensure post‑production is scalable enough to support multiple episodic series simultaneously

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in post‑production leadership within digital media, entertainment, or high‑volume content environments

Proven experience managing a multi‑editor team producing high‑volume content on deadlines

Deep understanding of long‑form editing, short‑form editing, audio finishing, and modern post workflows

Strong operational instincts - you understand how to build systems, not just manage creative output

High taste level and strong judgment for pacing, storytelling, and audience retention

Experience working with YouTube‑first content is a major plus

Strong familiarity with AI tools in post‑production (or demonstrated obsession with learning and implementing them)

Comfortable with project management systems (Monday.com preferred) and pipeline tracking

Ability to lead under pressure, maintain quality at scale, and eliminate chaos through structure

Must be willing to aggressively experiment, test workflows, and build an AI‑native post culture

Results:

Post‑production becomes a predictable, repeatable machine that supports consistent publishing across all brands

Turnaround time decreases substantially without sacrificing qualityEditing throughput increases enough to support multiple long‑form episodic series at once
