The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer in the medical community through the dissemination of and education on scientific data related to Bayer products across the product lifecycle. The MSL builds proactive long-term scientific/strategic relationships with key healthcare providers, stakeholders, and major medical associations and academic centers of excellence to ensure access to relevant scientific information and to share pertinent information with the medical community. The MSL provides technical and scientific field support to healthcare providers for safe and effective use of Bayer products, including timely adverse event reporting and responses to unsolicited requests for detailed product and disease state information. The MSL also develops a complete understanding of national, regional, and local experts and stakeholders in specific therapeutic categories and healthcare environments, collaborating with internal partners and external contacts to address scientific needs.
