Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director, BioPharma to drive sales of advanced genomics and data-driven solutions to biopharmaceutical clients across the United States. This role is primarily responsible for expanding revenue with both new and existing BioPharma customers. This position may be remote. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling next-generation sequencing (NGS) and AI/ML-enabled solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Pay Range: $150K – $200K
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share within targeted BioPharma accounts.
Leverage deep industry knowledge, including oncology therapeutic development trends and competitive dynamics, to advise pharma and biotech partners on strategic collaboration opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the pharmaceutical industry, including executives, clinicians, and research leaders.
Identify new business opportunities and partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales plans.
Collaborate with internal marketing, product development, and operational teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and overall business objectives.
Establish long-term, revenue-generating strategic partnerships with mid-sized life sciences organizations across the company’s product portfolio.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of the organization’s platform and solutions.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and retention.
Required Skills
5+ years of proven sales experience selling into biopharmaceutical companies, with a demonstrated record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, including regulatory considerations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with senior industry stakeholders, including executives, clinicians, and research professionals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific and technical information to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
PhD in cancer biology or a related field preferred, with at least 5 years of experience in cancer research, genomics, or translational oncology.
