Director of Wellness (RN) (Project Management) Join Our Team as a Director of Wellness (RN)!

What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Lead Resident Wellness Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all clinical and wellness services provided in the community. Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes. Champion a proactive approach to resident care that supports independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Inspire & Develop a Strong Team Hire, train, and mentor wellness staff including nurses and caregivers. Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture. Lead with empathy, encouraging continued learning and professional development.

Ensure Clinical Compliance Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys and uphold compliance with state and federal requirements. Monitor clinical documentation, incident reports, and follow up on care-related issues. Partner with pharmacy consultants, physicians, and external agencies to support resident needs.

Collaborate for Holistic Care Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to align clinical services with community goals. Participate in care conferences, family meetings, and community activities. Help create an environment where wellness is woven into every aspect of daily life.

Support Residents & Families Be a resource, advocate, and point of contact for residents and their loved ones. Promote programs and initiatives that address the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Expertise) Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN or LPN license in the state of employment. CPR certification and knowledge of best practices in infection control and senior wellness.

Experience & Leadership At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care preferred. Skilled in team management, training, and performance improvement.

Skills & Competencies Working knowledge of state healthcare regulations and wellness program development. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
