VME is a cross-functional team having the Ford Application Process primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at assembly plants. In this position... The Manufacturing Engineer - Industrial Designer candidate will be a part of this team and be responsible for technical ergonomic support for New Model Programs. Responsibilities

What you'll do... Deliver Ergonomic Delivery Quality Operating System requirements for your specific Future Model Program. Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements. Use virtual tools to evaluate the ergonomics of new model designs for high volume assembly operations. Lead identification, resolution, and closure of FAE ergonomic issues. Evaluate tooling, workstations and MPL delivery methods for ergonomic compliance. In addition, support tooling and racking buy-offs @ vendor facilities. Lead identification, resolution, and closure of all launch product and tooling ergonomic issues. Identify “Ergonomic Lessons Learned
