We are seeking an experienced
Senior Construction Superintendent
to lead large-scale
healthcare construction projects
in the Charlotte, NC area. This role is ideal for a field leader with a strong background in hospital, medical office building (MOB), and clinical facility construction who can manage complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects, including hospitals, MOBs, and specialty clinics
Manage subcontractors, field staff, and daily operations to ensure schedule, quality, and safety compliance
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and healthcare facility stakeholders
Enforce all OSHA and site safety requirements
Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and punch-list completion
Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and progress schedules
Ensure work meets strict healthcare, infection control (ICRA), and regulatory standards
Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
3+ years of experience specifically on
healthcare projects
(hospital, MOB, surgical centers, or labs)
Proven experience managing large crews and multiple subcontractor trades
Strong knowledge of healthcare construction codes, sequencing, and quality control
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
