Key Job Responsibilities The Account Manager is responsible for setting a long‑term strategy and executing daily to grow customers. Teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization—including C‑level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales—this role builds and maintains broad relationships, develops and manages opportunities, and facilitates a large team of extended resources. The Account Manager is responsible for selling at the most strategic levels (C‑level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. Collaboration with AWS executives, partner, support, and solution architects ensures customer interests are championed while aligning with AWS business needs. In addition to new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development, this role includes dotted‑line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

A Day in the Life The ideal candidate applies sales and technical experience to proactively engage with customers to harness the power of cloud technology to meet business objectives, generating and maintaining active engagements with customers and prospects, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution‑sales / technology‑related environment.

Knowledge of existing and developing technologies.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.

The base salary range for this position is $80,200.00 – $123,100.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives, and final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
