
Regional/Traveling Lease-Up Specialist NJ
We’re looking for an experienced leasing professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments and knows how to drive results. Our client is a growing real estate company with a portfolio of luxury residential communities across New Jersey and Connecticut. They value collaboration, professionalism, and long-term growth. About the Role
The Lease-Up Specialist is a traveling position supporting multiple communities across the portfolio. You’ll primarily work in New Jersey with occasional assignments in Connecticut. You’ll step into properties that need additional leasing momentum, quickly learn the market, and help drive occupancy.
We provide company housing within a reasonable commute (typically 30–60 minutes) for your New Jersey assignments. For out-of-state placements, hotel or apartment accommodations are fully covered.
Key Responsibilities
Support leasing efforts at communities experiencing high demand or in active lease-up
Manage and follow up on all leads — calls, emails, texts, and in‑person tours
Build strong relationships with prospective residents and guide them through the leasing process
Maintain accurate records and work efficiently within property management systems
Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure a seamless resident experience
What We’re Looking For
Minimum
2 years of luxury/Class A leasing experience
Proven ability to meet or exceed leasing goals
Strong communication and customer service skills
Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Flexibility to travel between assigned properties as needed
Experience with
Yardi
is strongly preferred
No degree required — performance and professionalism matter most
