You will join our Content Experience team to set up, configure, validate, and develop content for our best-in-class AI-powered data security and management solutions that are powering the market adoption and growth of our revolutionary Software-defined and SaaS offerings. Your skills will be essential to accelerate and expand our rapidly growing business.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE Create and continually improve world‑class product documentation for software, hardware, cloud, and developer tools.
Deliver an exceptional Out of the Box Experience (OOBE) for customers through UX content design, product tours, in‑app help, and product documentation.
Act as the “first customer” for Cohesity products and features to ensure that your technical content provides the very best user experience.
Develop intent‑based and topic‑based technical content that can be consumed by LLMs and end users.
Write user-friendly technical content that explains complex information clearly, concisely, and without jargon.
Prioritize multiple requirements and tasks in a constantly changing and fast‑paced environment.
Manage the complete life cycle of production, publication, and technical information.
Acknowledge and address documentation feedback from internal and external customers to deliver complete, accurate, and usable content.

Proven experience in both business‑to‑business and consumer content, with a portfolio that demonstrates clean, compelling, and conversational writing.

Skills and Experience Required:
Education - BS or BA in English, Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience – 2 to 9 years of experience in Technical Writing; developing software and hardware documentation for global customers.
Tools Authoring/Publishing - MadCap Flare/MadCap Central or experience in any one of the topic‑based/DITA‑based authoring tools such as Oxygen XML, XMetal, Framemaker (structured).
Source/version control - Git/Gerrit, GitHub, Bitbucket, or experience using other source control/repo management tools.
Feature/Defect Management - Jira, Rally, or any industry‑standard, agile project/defect management software.
Collaboration and Process Management - Confluence, Wiki.
Productivity and Chatbots – Experience leveraging LLMs or AI‑powered assistants for documentation process efficiency or implementing/using customer‑facing AI chatbots for content discoverability.
Good to have Web‑based or DITA‑based authoring and publishing tools.
Familiarity with cloud, data management, security, or AI technologies.
Content delivery using Continuous integration and delivery approach.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and HTML5 help systems.
