As a Regional Property Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities, driving performance and resident satisfaction while mentoring on-site teams. Responsibilities:

Direct daily operations of a regional portfolio of multifamily properties, ensuring standards are met for maintenance, safety, and resident service.

Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to maintain high curb appeal and asset integrity.

Lead, hire, train, and mentor Property Managers and onsite teams to promote a high-performance culture.

Develop and manage property budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting, analyzing monthly financials to improve NOI.

Oversee rent collections, expense control, capital project planning, and revenue management strategies.

Drive leasing performance, occupancy goals, and resident retention through marketing and reputation management.

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and state/local regulations; manage vendor relationships and risk mitigation.

Communicate effectively with ownership and senior leadership, providing regular portfolio reports and strategic recommendations.

Must-Have Skills:

3–5+ years of experience in property management

Prior experience with multi-family properties required

Strong financial acumen and experience with property-level P&L management

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as required

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Industry certifications such as CAM, ARM, CAPS, or similar.

Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata.

Experience with capital improvement projects and asset repositioning.

Familiarity with local multifamily market dynamics.

Background in managing conventional, tax credit, HUD, or mixed portfolios.

Knowledge of advanced real estate marketing strategies.
