Concrete Field Superintendent
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (reports to DFW shop; statewide travel required)

Field Superintendent
position for someone who understands concrete, can lead crews in the field, read plans, solve problems in real time, and take full ownership of project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee crews on active concrete job sites across Texas
Manage daily field operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget
Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and the scope of work
Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed
Maintain jobsite quality standards and enforce safety compliance
Communicate clearly with the owner regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs
Hold crews accountable for performance, productivity, and workmanship
Help identify, train, and develop reliable crew members for future projects
Travel during the week as required (home most weekends)
Pick up and return the company truck at the shop for business travel
Requirements
3 to 5+ years of leadership experience in concrete construction (Foreman, Lead, Superintendent, or PM level)
Strong plan reading, layout, and field coordination skills
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish to safely lead Spanish‑speaking crews
Ability to manage projects independently without constant supervision
Strong problem‑solving skills and field decision‑making ability
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle to commute to the shop
Willingness to travel statewide for projects
Pay and Benefits
Full‑time, W‑2 employment
Pay: $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience
Consistent work on diverse and complex concrete projects
Direct access to the owner and meaningful decision‑making authority
