
Summary
The AutomationSpecialist plays a critical role in the transformation, optimization, and day-to-day execution of Loyal Source’s recruitment marketing and automation ecosystem. This role supports high-volume operations by designing, maintaining, and optimizing automated workflows that improve recruiter efficiency, accelerate delivery, and enhance the candidate experience.
Operating in this role requires the ability to step directly into existing Automation workflows, quickly understand complex data and segmentation structures, independently troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize automation across the recruitment lifecycle.
Under the guidance of the Enterprise Applications Manager – Delivery, the Specialist will partner with recruitment, delivery, marketing, and technology teams to align business objectives with automation solutions within Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud and emerging AI/agentic tools.
Pay Rate : $65,000 / year
Duties and Functions
Design, build, maintain, and optimize automated workflows supporting candidates, jobs, submissions, placements, and client communications.
Develop advanced segmentation logic, dynamic lists, triggers, conditional paths, and multi-step journeys within Bullhorn Automation.
Test, validate, and refine workflows to improve engagement, deliverability, data accuracy, and recruiter productivity.
Troubleshoot workflow failures, data inconsistencies, and automation logic issues, resolving independently when possible.
Maintain strong data hygiene standards, including consent management, lifecycle alignment, and segmentation integrity.
Monitor and analyze automation performance, including engagement metrics, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and workflow health.
Support leadership reporting on recruiter efficiency, candidate engagement, and automation ROI.
Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to translate operational needs into scalable automation solutions.
Maintain clear documentation of workflows, decision logic, segmentation rules, and configurations.
Provide advanced support and knowledge sharing for recruiters and internal stakeholders using automated tools.
Leverages emerging AI tools and platforms (e.g., custom agents, Agentforce, copilots, and LLM-based workflows) to automate operational processes, reduce manual effort, and improve scalability.
Builds, tests, and iterates custom AI agents and prompt-driven automations to support business operations, customer workflows, and internal teams.
Stays current on AI automation trends, tooling, and best practices through continuous learning, experimentation, and evaluation of new capabilities in the AI ecosystem.
Demonstrates strong interest and/or prior experience in AI-powered automation, including experimentation with low-code/no-code AI tools, custom agents, or workflow orchestration platforms.
Required Experience
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Bullhorn Automation (preferred) or comparable marketing automation platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce/Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud and recruitment workflows.
Proven experience building and optimizing complex, multi-step automation workflows.
Deep understanding of segmentation logic, workflow triggers, conditional automation, and lifecycle journeys.
Ability to translate business and delivery requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting engagement and performance data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Requirements
Experience supporting high-volume or enterprise recruitment environments (Healthcare, Government, or regulated industries preferred).
Familiarity with Workday, job boards, and ATS integrations.
Experience with AI-driven automation and agentic workflow systems.
Experience supporting change management, workflow adoption, or recruiter enablement initiatives.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA) Knowledge of Bullhorn/automation platforms, recruitment workflows, segmentation logic, and AI-driven tools. Skilled in building, optimizing, and troubleshooting automation workflows, analyzing performance data, and documenting processes. Able to quickly understand complex systems, translate business needs into scalable automation, maintain strong data hygiene, communicate clearly, and learn new tools independently.
