Responsibilities The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating merchandising strategies, as well as executing, communicating, and training the field as to these strategies, for in-store implementation.

Create breakthrough displays/presentations to excite customers to maximize the shopping experience, generate a “WOW” factor, and further enhance the Spirit brand

Partner with Buyers to “style-out” assortments and develop merchandising strategies; transfer strategies to “Planograms” and other forms of instruction for field use

Assist in creating a visual merchandise manual with detailed directions on merchandising strategy execution

Answer all technical questions regarding merchandising concepts

Review all new merchandising strategies with Senior Management, obtaining approvals prior to plan execution

Create and execute all merchandise concept plans on time and within budget

Create various model layouts, to include custom layouts for unique store sizes, using SketchUp

Travel to other markets to assist with the execution of the merchandise concept

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher. Experience with Photoshop and SketchUp and/or AutoCAD

Strong communication and organizational skills

Must exhibit versatility and creativity

Ability to work well with others

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including but not limited to unpacking and moving merchandise, building and relocating fixtures, and merchandising product

Comfort working in both a corporate setting as well as an in-store environment, including extended periods of standing, climbing ladders, and repetitive physical activity as part of merchandising execution

Travel required

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scopeand responsibilities of the position.

Pay Range $45,000 - $55,000
