
Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair HVAC ductwork and related components on commercial projects. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read construction drawings, and experience working safely on active job sites. Responsibilities
Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using hand and power tools Install duct systems according to SMACNA standards and project requirements Seal, insulate, and support ductwork properly Coordinate work with HVAC installers, foremen, and other trades Maintain job site safety and comply with OSHA requirements Load, transport, and manage materials and tools on job sites Identify and report field issues or drawing conflicts Maintain quality workmanship and productivity standards Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of HVAC sheet metal installation experience (commercial preferred) Ability to read blueprints and duct layouts Experience with spiral, rectangular, and lined duct systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, and lifts Knowledge of HVAC codes and installation best practices Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on ladders or lifts Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work overhead for extended periods Preferred (Not Required)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification SMACNA training or apprenticeship completion Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems Compensation & Benefits
