About This Opportunity We are seeking an outgoing and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Merchandiser Representative. In this role, you will service InComm merchants—including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, and various smaller retail locations—throughout the North Metro area, including San Juan City and Trujillo Alto.

Responsibilities

Find prospective clients by direct visits, phone or by referrals.

Present the company products and services.

Performs the best sales effort to sign up new locations and to exceed the sales quota.

Coordinates the installation of the terminal and assures top quality during the process.

Takes ownership of the service agreement and orientate the customers on the terms and conditions.

Follows up on clients to promote increasing the sales generated through the terminal.

Assist the customer service department on the retention efforts.

Stays updated on company policies, sales strategies, promotions, new services, operational use of the terminals and discount rates.

Assist the accounting department during the collection efforts.

Attend meetings related to the completion of the established objectives.

Provide support as a liaison between the clients and the customer service department.

Represents its supervisor in any activity as requested by the supervisor.

Coordinate the preparation of special projects or any studies required by the management.

Prepare presentations and reports requested by its supervisor.

Maintain confidentiality of all InComm information. It is required that the confidentiality of customer and company information be maintained. Any breach of customer or company information will not be tolerated.

Perform other duties related with the essential duties of the position.

Qualifications

Interpersonal Relations

Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all InComm employees, customers, and business contracts.

InComm will not tolerate negative attitudes, personal agendas or the lack of professionalism.

Equipment and supplies

All office equipment/property is intended for business related to InComm.

Money

The responsibility is indirect.

The effective and efficient sales efforts and results will contribute to the achievement of objectives and will protect the economic interest of the company.

Education

Bachelor degree preferred.

Experience

2 years of experience in sales.

Skills

Sales techniques & analytical skills

Computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.

Excellent communication skills – complete oral and written understanding of the Spanish and English language.

Availability

The position requires that the employee travel to other geographical areas or dependencies of the company in the performing of the duties.

Available to travel outside or Puerto Rico for training purposes or to attend any official activity.

Professionalism

Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times in the work environment. This includes but it is not limited to personal attire and daily interaction with customers, coworkers, management and other business contacts.

The position requires that the employee wear the company uniform.
