Catholic Central High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Subvarsity Boys Golf Coach to lead our student-athletes on and off the court. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a commitment to player development, and the ability to build a positive, competitive, and faith-centered team culture. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Varsity Coach in planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of the program. Serve as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team, including practice planning, game preparation, and in-game management. Support the development and implementation of a unified program philosophy from freshman through varsity levels. Teach and reinforce fundamental skills, sport-specific strategies, and conditioning appropriate to each level. Promote and model sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Monitor and support the academic progress, character development, and overall well-being of student-athletes. Assist with scouting, film breakdown, and opponent preparation. Help coordinate team travel, equipment distribution, and uniform management. Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and athletic department staff. Maintain compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association policies. Assist with offseason training, strength and conditioning programs, and summer development opportunities. Support program-wide fundraising efforts and community engagement initiatives. Attend required athletic department meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions. Assist in supervising team activities, locker rooms, and transportation to ensure student safety. Help build and sustain positive relationships within the school community and with partner programs. Qualifications

Previous golf coaching experience required; high school or collegiate experience preferred. Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, techniques, and competitive strategy. Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes both athletically and personally. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must complete or hold required MHSAA coaching certifications.
