Position Customer Service Representative

Temp-hire / El Monte, CA

Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Payrate: $20-25.00 an hour

You’ll manage quotes, orders, and customer communications while serving as the key liaison between customers and internal teams such as engineering, inspection, accounting, and shipping. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and route customer quotes accurately and on time

Review and process customer purchase orders per AS9100 Risk Analysis requirements

Enter orders into the ERP system, clearly translating quality clauses, delivery requirements, and customer-specific provisions

Maintain accurate records of open, closed, and archived quotes and orders

Keep ERP customer data current and accurate

Perform purchase order follow-ups, weekly status reporting, delivery expediting, and issue resolution

Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth order execution

Secondary Responsibilities

Process and route incoming mail and faxes

Support the accounting team with collections and miscellaneous requests

Provide reception coverage as needed

Assist leadership with clerical and administrative tasks when required

Participate in team meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives

Engage in 6S and Continuous Improvement activities

Support internal audits as required by the Quality Management System

Required Qualifications

US Person status required

High school diploma or equivalent (degree a plus)

Minimum 3 years of customer service with aerospace or manufacturing experience required

Strong understanding of customer service principles and ethics

Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures

Strong English reading and writing skills

Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills

Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Systems (strong plus)
