What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U‑Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move, hook up, and inspect U‑Haul trucks and trailers
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
Participate in ongoing education through U‑Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to participate in safety training and use protective gear as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance
Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment)
Interest in ongoing training and skills development within the company
