Summary The Insights Analyst supports the SalesOperations organization by delivering actionable, data-driven insights that inform commercial strategy and key business decisions. This role manages and interprets third‑party syndicated data to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support Trident Seafoods’ domestic business initiatives.
Essential Functions
Manages and enhances advanced reporting using third‑party syndicated POS data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator) to track market share and category performance.
Delivers actionable, relevant insights that support customer strategies, tactics, and internal decision‑making.
Synthesizes multiple data sources and research into clear, compelling stories that inform business decisions and innovation opportunities.
Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and R&D partners to align insights with strategic initiatives and key business questions.
Manages workflow, data integrity, and storytelling across external data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Owns recurring market and category reporting, including the communication of trends and implications to internal stakeholders.
Contributes to identifying gaps and opportunities in the market to support the innovation pipeline.
Supports self‑service analytics tools through documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement.
Partners with third‑party data vendors to support ongoing data management, quality, and enhancements.
Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $85,000 to $120,000.
Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an insights / data analytics role utilizing syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator), category management, marketing, or insights.
A bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, consumer insights, marketing, sales, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
Preferred Education & Experiences
Category management support, shopper insights, or account management experience.
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Experience in retail/CPG and/or foodservice environments.
Demonstrated experience interpreting pricing and promotional activity
Strong data analysis and organizational skills with the ability to interpret and communicate market and category trends.
Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, strategic insights and recommendations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across functions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain data integrity, and adapt to evolving business needs.
This is an on‑site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
In‑office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
