Position Overview We are seeking a
Senior Anaplan Model Builder
to support and enhance enterprise-wide financial planning systems in one of our partner organizations. This role sits within the FP&A Systems function and plays a critical part in strengthening connected planning capabilities across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for Anaplan model operations, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement of financial planning tools. This position blends hands‑on model building, system administration, end‑user support, and cross‑functional collaboration with Finance and IT teams. This is a backfill opportunity offering strong visibility, impact, and the ability to influence enterprise planning strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles in partnership with Finance and business leaders
Build, maintain, and enhance Anaplan models to meet evolving business requirements
Validate and monitor data integrations, imports, and exports to ensure data accuracy
Troubleshoot system and model issues in collaboration with IT and platform support teams
Administer workspace security, user access, and governance controls
Develop documentation, process guides, and operational runbooks
Lead user training sessions and office hours to improve adoption and usability
Stay current on platform updates and best practices
Contribute to cross‑training efforts and support multiple planning models
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or FP&A
At least 1 year of hands‑on Anaplan model building experience (or similar financial planning platform)
Advanced Excel and spreadsheet modeling expertise
Experience with reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong analytical and technical problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication skills with a customer‑service mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Anaplan Level 1 and/or Level 2 Model Building Certification
Experience supporting enterprise‑level planning environments
Experience administering workspace security and governance controls
