What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper equipment handling Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and overall condition Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications): Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs Willingness to work in a moderate-risk environment with safety precautions Ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Previous experience in customer service or retail environments Familiarity with using technology for inventory and rental management Capability to operate a forklift (certification provided upon employment) Interest in obtaining certifications for propane filling and hitch installation Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
