Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our team at Bertera Subaru of West Springfield. The Parts Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring our service department operates efficiently and our customers receive the parts and information they need promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers and service technicians in locating the appropriate parts for their vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Maintain an organized inventory of Subaru parts and accessories.
Place orders for parts and ensure timely delivery for customer and service needs.
Provide expert advice on Subaru parts, answering any questions and offering recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Keep up-to-date with new products and technical information to offer informed guidance to customers and colleagues.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management to ensure efficient stock management.
Process customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless communication and operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a related role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, especially Subaru products.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency with computer systems and inventory software is an asset.
A valid driver’s license may be required for parts delivery and stock handling.
