Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour
Summary
The Customer Service Representative position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a team‑based environment for all aspects of patient business activity within the Practice/Department. Responsibilities
Handling telephones Patient appointment scheduling Patient check‑in Insurance verification, authorization, and pre‑certifications Referrals Posting charges, initial collections, and preparing well‑coded and accurate billing Maintenance of medical records Managing business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health, and corporate accounts as needed Work required during late hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required or Preferred) Less than 1 year of Clerical/Administrative experience (Required) Insurance experience (Preferred) Customer Service experience (Preferred) 1-2 years prior experience required for Lee Health Solutions Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire State of Florida Licensure Requirements – Licenses and Certifications (Preferred and/or Not Required)
