About the Role As an
Asset Management Practice Lead , you will make an impact by driving
growth for consulting business across our asset management clients , develop offerings targeted at asset management clients, engage in sales pursuit, represent consulting in client pitches, building trusted client relationships, and ensure measurable business outcomes across large, complex consulting programs. You will be a valued member of the capital markets consulting team and work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders, client partners, and multi-location delivery teams. You will be reporting to the regional head of capital markets consulting.
In This Role, You Will:
Act as an Asset Management SME during proactive pursuits or RFP responses , be the primary point of contact for client partners or client relationship managers and ensure we have a winning proposition.
Own end‑to‑end delivery
across won Asset Management programs, projects, and managed services engagements, while using farming techniques to ensure follow through revenue via other projects.
Deepen Asset Management practice capabilities via thought leadership and developing sales collateral , including publishing blogs, case studies, and developing the right talent base.
Ensure partial personal billability while balancing practice growth goals , while relationship building with key client executives in the Asset Management client firms.

this is a hybrid position requiring travel as needed to client or Cognizant location in the NYC Metropolitan Area . Candidate needs to be local to the area or should be willing to relocate. What You Must Have to Be Considered
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
12–15+ years of IT services, consulting, or digital transformation experience.
8+ years in program, delivery, or engagement leadership roles with a strong track record managing large, complex programs in the Asset Management domain.
Proven experience managing global delivery models, including onshore/offshore teams.
Strong executive presence, communication, presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Deep understanding of modern technology landscapes (Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data & AI, Application Modernization).
Certifications such as PMP or Lean SixSigma.
Strong governance, planning, and execution discipline.
Excellent conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation
$165,000 - $194,000
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of applicable plans.
