Overview Killer Queen is hiring a Cocktail Server. As a cocktail server, you will ensure guests have a great experience by creating a fun environment and remaining in constant awareness of the guest’s needs. You must maintain thorough knowledge of bar products, service standards, daily specials, events and parties, and be able to prioritize service and execute accordingly.

Experience in bars/restaurants, the hospitality industry, or customer service is preferred. Weekend, weekend late night and evening availability is a must. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team!

Recognizable by its “Killer Queen” neon sign and hanging twinkle lights, the bar creates a sleek, upbeat ambiance. The menu consists of craft cocktails, seasonal offerings, house shots, and a robust beer, wine, and liquor selection. Rotating local DJs turn up the weekend energy every Thursday - Sunday night and for select holidays and local events.

Skills and Abilities Required

Maintain knowledge on beverages, service changes, daily specials, events and parties that is shared through pre-shift touch points and manager emails

Must be able to engage and converse easily and positively with guests

Adhere to dress code, appearance and grooming standards specified in manual

Provide fast, accurate service and positive guest relations

Excels in a team environment

Must demonstrate responsibility, personal accountability, and reliability

Must demonstrate a hospitality mindset

Expected to maintain professional manner throughout shifts

Ability to work well under pressure

Proficient with POS systems

Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

Previous server or other bar/restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred

Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
