Location:
Lynchburg, VA (Remote / Field-Based)
McWhorter Media Group is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Executive to own and grow an established outdoor advertising territory in the Lynchburg market.
This is an outside B2B sales role ideal for someone who thrives on independence, relationship-building, and selling creative, high-impact billboard campaigns.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional advertisers
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
Develop customized advertising and billboard proposals
Manage and grow an existing book of business
Meet and exceed sales targets through effective territory management
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, account management, or relationship-driven roles
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
Experience using CRM and sales-related tools
Advertising or media sales experience is a plus, but not required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
