Home Care Marketer - Northeast Ohio

A growing non-medical home care agency in the Akron/Cleveland area is seeking a motivated, energetic, and resourceful Home Care Marketer to help establish its presence in the community. This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on connection, growth, and making a meaningful impact.

Position Summary The Home Care Marketer will serve as the face of the organization, responsible for developing referral relationships, driving community engagement, and educating professionals and families about home care services. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable taking initiative and building strong community roots.

Core Responsibilities Referral Source Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, senior organizations, and other community partners.

Conduct regular visits, sales calls, and follow-ups to generate new referrals and maintain ongoing partnerships.

Strategic Marketing & Growth

Develop and implement marketing and outreach plans to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation.

Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitor insights, and community trends.

Community Outreach & Public Engagement

Represent the agency at health fairs, senior expos, community events, and professional networking meetings.

Deliver presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals, families, and community groups.

Sales & Client Relations

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.

Track referral activity, maintain CRM records, and monitor marketing performance metrics.

Market Knowledge & Innovation

Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for growth and service enhancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-5+ years of proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, in home care, healthcare, or senior services.

Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.

Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented, comfortable working independently in a start-up or growth-focused environment.

Proficiency in basic computer applications; experience with CRM systems is a plus.

Empathetic, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about serving seniors and families.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
