Team Overview

Our Marketing team leads, develops, and executes PowerSchool’s global marketing initiatives. Responsible for brand, corporate communications, demand-generation, and solution marketing, the team works across all major marketing functions to drive alignment of the organization’s messages across all channels to ensure we meet our sales targets.

Responsibilities This is an exciting time to join PowerSchool’s Product Marketing team. We are evolving how we bring our solutions to market, organizing around customer priorities and educational impact rather than individual products alone. We are looking for curious, driven Product Marketing Managers to help shape solution-level strategy, bring new capabilities to market, and turn product innovation into meaningful value for educators and students.

In this

Product Marketing Manager

role, you will own product and solution-level messaging, content, and launches while collaborating closely with partners across Product, Sales, Customer Experience, Enablement, and Marketing. Whether you are earlier in your product marketing career or ready to take on greater scope and influence, this role offers the opportunity to grow, stretch, and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Own product and solution-level positioning and messaging, aligned to broader category and company narratives.

Translate product capabilities into clear, customer-facing stories that connect to real use cases and outcomes.

Plan and execute product launches and announcements, delivering go-to-market assets and readiness materials.

Develop solution and product content such as web pages, sales assets, customer stories, and messaging frameworks.

Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Solution Engineering, Enablement, and Customer Success.

Gather customer, market, and competitive insights to continuously refine positioning and storytelling.

Support customer-facing teams with the messaging and materials they need to build value hypotheses, proposals, and responses.

Measure success through engagement, adoption, asset usage, and contribution to pipeline and growth.

Qualifications Qualifications

3–6+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or a closely related role (level determined based on experience, scope, and impact).

Proven ability to translate product capabilities into clear, customer-facing value stories.

Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience creating messaging, content, or go-to-market assets.

Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Enablement, Customer Experience, or Marketing teams.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $95,600 - $119,500 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
