This role is a
full-time, in-office position located in Mesa, Arizona . The
Graphic Designer
will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective designs that support internal and external communications for recruitment, marketing, and branding purposes. This position collaborates with the Human Resources, Academic, and Marketing teams to design a variety of collateral, including recruitment materials, promotional content, and internal communications. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports the daily development of original content, including infographics, trifolds, banners, school materials, t-shirt designs, web and social media graphics.
Produces digital advertisements and sponsored content quarterly.
Helps evolve internal and external marketing and communication through brainstorming, problem-solving, and new storytelling methods.
Provides support with client events, and inter-departmental support as needed, including social media and email marketing support.
Leads multiple projects and works independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, fun, innovative and deadline-driven environment.
Supports multiple design projects from client schools and internal stakeholders.
Manages and maintains relationships with vendors (print, apparel, etc.); effectively coordinates packing/print production for approved designs.
Collaborates with the marketing team on new campaigns and strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
One or more years of graphic design experience.
Strong portfolio of recent work.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Knowledge of typography, color, and print production.
Ability to collect and interpret feedback, execute on vision, and collaborate closely with content team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
Problem solver with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in
Graphic Design ,
Visual Arts ,
Communications , or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
At least
2–3 years
of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advertising agency experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience working in Wrike project management system is a plus, but not required.
