Essential Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Junior Golf Leadership (Primary Focus)

Design, promote, and execute a comprehensive Junior Golf schedule, including camps, clinics, and play days.

Develop a curriculum that balances fundamental skill development with fun and etiquette.

Create and administer Play Days that will focus on getting junior golfers on the course.

Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, ensuring clear communication and a welcoming environment.

Train and organize other staff members to help facilitate the Junior Program. Work with the lead assistant to ensure the staff schedule supports the junior program's needs.

Club Fitting & Equipment Management

Act as the lead fitter for the club, utilizing Trackman technology to provide elite-level fitting experiences.

Manage the Demo and Fitting Day calendar, coordinating with manufacturer reps (Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, etc.) to ensure a premium member experience.

Oversee the maintenance, organization, and rotation of the club's demo bag and fitting components.

Seek out educational opportunities to grow your skills in club fitting.

General Golf Operations

Serve as a leader in the golf operation and build relationships with all team members and other departments.

Assist in tournament operations, including setup, scoring, and day of event execution.

Manage the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory control, and point-of-sale transactions.

Serve as an ambassador of Southern Hospitality and provide the members and guests of Valhalla with the highest levels of service.
