Founding Account Executive New York City (Hybrid - Midtown Manhattan, 2-3 days in office) $90k-$100k Base | $180k-$200k OTE

Sphere Digital Recruitment is partnering with a high-growth, VC-backed SaaS business operating at the forefront of privacy, compliance, and digital trust.

This is a founding AE opportunity in the US market, ideal for a commercially driven, full-cycle seller who thrives in build mode and wants real ownership over pipeline, process, and revenue.

The Opportunity This role blends SDR-level pipeline generation with full-cycle Account Executive ownership. You will be responsible for building pipeline at the top of funnel while also managing complex mid-market and enterprise sales cycles through to close.

The product is a SaaS platform that enables organizations to navigate global data privacy regulations, build user trust, and operate compliantly across digital channels. Target personas typically sit across Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Digital teams, so strong multi-threading and consultative selling are essential.

This is a high-visibility role in a scaling US team, with real influence on go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

Top-of-Funnel & Pipeline Creation

Identify and engage key decision-makers through structured outbound outreach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).

Qualify inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities.

Run effective discovery calls to uncover business pain, regulatory challenges, and commercial impact.

Build and maintain a healthy, self-generated pipeline through account segmentation and strategic targeting.

Partner closely with Marketing to optimize campaign follow-up and lead conversion.

Full-Cycle Sales Execution

Own the full sales cycle from discovery through demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.

Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to legal, compliance, and marketing stakeholders.

Manage multi-threaded sales processes across mid-market and enterprise accounts.

Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene (HubSpot or similar).

Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success.

What We're Looking For

2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.

Proven success in both outbound prospecting and closing new business.

Experience selling into regulated environments to Legal, Compliance, Marketing, or Digital stakeholders would be advantageous

Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Consultative, value-led sales approach focused on long-term partnership.

Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, SalesLoft, or similar tools.
