
Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is looking to add a Marketing Assistant.
Position Description
The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in delivering winning proposals and presentations, managing content, and supporting internal and external communications. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to grow in the marketing field. Responsibilities
Assist in developing and editing marketing materials, presentations, and proposals Support content creation for internal communications (intranet, company emails, etc.) and external platforms (social media, website, etc.) Manage marketing inventory, collateral, and promotional items Maintain and update content across marketing databases and platforms (OpenAsset, Cosential, Salesforce, local drives) Coordinate printing and production of marketing collateral Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with marketing and operations teams Partner with cross-functional departments to gather content and ensure consistent messaging Coordinate employee headshots and project photography Produce accurate, high-quality deliverables aligned with brand standards Assist with managing and scheduling social media content Provide logistical and administrative support for events and internal initiatives Primary Qualifications
Post‑secondary education bachelor’s degree, preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, or English. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Familiarity with Canva is a plus Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Team player with a service‑role mindset This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.
