Insurance Brokerage Account Executive - Islip Terrace NY
Commercial Line Account Executive Location: Islip Terrace Salary: $90-130,000 + Bonus + Benefits Our Client, a 15‑person Islip Terrace broker, requires a senior Account Executive to service and maintain all aspects of a variety of commercial accounts (premium ranging from $20,000 to $1,000,000). The book is diversified with a considerable number of real estate developers, general contractors, trades, construction, automotive, restaurants, and businesses typical of the tri‑state area.
Responsibilities
Service, market, and maintain commercial accounts
Market renewals and new business on existing accounts
Identify cross‑marketing opportunities and round out accounts
Review applications and policies for accurate information
Identify and explain coverage and lapses in coverage
Prepare reports and proposals
Oversee processing—claims reporting, auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders, etc.
Qualifications
Current NYS broker’s license
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance
Experience with navigation and online rating on company websites
Thorough knowledge of all commercial lines coverage and products
