Overview We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Wholesale Account Executive to lead and grow our Mountain West and Southwest territories. This individual will manage existing wholesale partnerships while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities across retail, country clubs, resorts, and collegiate accounts.
This role requires disciplined pipeline management, consistent prospecting, and strong territory ownership to support predictable revenue growth. The ideal candidate understands specialty and resort buying cycles and is confident managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through order execution and follow-up.
This is a revenue-generating role with clear performance expectations and meaningful growth opportunity.
Territory Focus Key Responsibilities Territory Ownership & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all accounts within the territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, owners, and key decision-makers
Conduct in-person appointments, store visits, and market meetings as needed
Maintain consistent communication and proactive follow-up throughout the selling season
New Business Development
Identify, prospect, and open new wholesale accounts aligned with brand positioning
Develop and execute a structured territory growth plan
Research and pursue opportunities across specialty retail, country clubs, resorts, and collegiate programs
Actively build relationships with prospective accounts through outreach and in-market meetings
Sales Funnel & Pipeline Management
Maintain an active and accurate sales funnel for the territory
Track prospects, opportunities, and deal stages within the CRM
Proactively move accounts through the funnel from prospect to conversion
Provide regular pipeline updates and territory forecasts
Identify risks, stalled opportunities, and areas requiring additional focus
Manage the full sales process: outreach, product presentation, negotiation, order entry, and post-sale support
Present seasonal collections and customization opportunities
Guide accounts through ordering timelines and customization processes
Ensure accurate order submission and coordination with internal teams
Trade Shows & Market Representation
Represent the brand at regional trade shows and industry events
Prepare and execute market appointments
Capture and follow up on leads generated at events
Maintain strong brand presentation and storytelling
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with design and production teams to ensure customization needs are clearly communicated
Work closely with Operations to support smooth order processing and delivery timelines
Collaborate with Marketing to support sell-through initiatives and account materials
Reporting & Territory Performance
Maintain accurate CRM records of account activity and pipeline status
Provide regular territory updates and revenue forecasts
Track performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Monitor regional market trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
3–5+ years experience in wholesale sales or account management within fashion or apparel
Strong understanding of specialty retail, resort, and/or collegiate markets
Existing relationships within Mountain West and Southwest
Proven ability to prospect and open new accounts
Experience presenting collections and managing customization processes
Experience working with wholesale order management platforms (NuORDER, JOOR, or similar fashion systems) preferred
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Highly organized and self-motivated
Willingness to travel regularly within the territory
