Role Summary
We are seeking a caring, talentedindividual with a passion for patient care in an orthopedic setting and a background in Durable Medical Equipment to join us as a Field Service Representative in San Diego, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-moving, patient-focused environment with brands such as DonJoy, Aircast, ProCare, and Exos.
Key Responsibilities
Provide account management, manage day-to-day service operations for DME programs, and instruct on the appropriate use and application of products.
Verify patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
Evaluate customer clinic needs and collaborate with Sales and Field Service Teams to improve DME inventory program performance.
Travel within the designated territory, monitor and maintain current inventory levels, track orders, and investigate issues.
Serve as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
Adhere to Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG and government healthcare regulations, clinic/hospital policies, and HIPAA requirements.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
A passion for providing excellent care to healthcare professionals and patients, with a strong desire to contribute to outstanding patient results.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, athletic training setting, or related.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Demonstrated patient care experience.
Experience coordinating with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic.
Demonstrated experience with the application of soft goods/functional bracing.
Experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs.
Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
Holds applicable professional credentials (e.g., Athletic Training licensure, BOC, ABC CFo, PTA, or related).
Desired Qualifications
Experience with insurance reimbursement and DME billing requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Provide patient care in physician offices, hospitals, and clinics.
Potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds.
Travel up to 10–90% of the time; overnight travel not required.
