This position is responsible for performing clerical duties in support of the Municipal Court, and providing assistance and information to other departments, divisions and the public regarding court policies and procedures. Duties include processing criminal case paperwork received through the mail and at the counter, data entry and filing.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and could periodically include weekends and holidays.
Pay PAY GRADE GG11 / FULL PAY RANGE $18.81 - $26.52 PER HOUR
Responsibilities and Qualifications Responsibilities:
This position involves accessing high‑security Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and requires a thorough background check. Candidates must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of cash‑handling experience. • Excellent customer service skills with ability to handle high volume traffic in person and over the phone. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are beneficial.
About the Municipal Court The Municipal Court’s role is to make formal judgments or decisions about violations of city ordinances and other minor crimes. Its six divisions are:
