The Sales Engineer will be responsible for: Providing technical support and guidance to the sales team to help communicate product capabilities and value to customers, supporting the sales process from lead generation through deal closure. Serving as a technical subject matter expert during customer interactions, including delivering detailed product explanations, technical demonstrations, and presentations. Acting as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and R&D to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Participating in customer meetings, site visits, and pre‑install site surveys to gather requirements and provide technical insights. Creating CAD drawings for proposals, permitting, and internal pricing processes. Assisting with product installations and technology demonstration setups. Staying current on building codes, industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor solutions to inform internal strategy. Attending trade shows and industry events to support product education and brand visibility. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar role, ideally within retail solutions or engineered product environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate within cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in technical documentation, proposal writing, and customer‑facing presentations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
