Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
Minimum of 4+ years of civil engineering design experience
At least 1+ years supporting solid waste, landfill, or waste facility projects. Strong technical understanding of waste and landfill systems, including grading, drainage, and site civil design
Experience producing and reviewing engineering design drawings and calculations. Stable work history.
Job Description
Perform civil engineering design for solid waste and landfill projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility coordination. Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, and design calculations in accordance with regulatory and client requirements. Support landfill infrastructure projects such as cell development, liner systems, leachate collection, stormwater controls, and access roads. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (environmental, geotechnical, structural) to integrate design components. Assist project managers with technical input, schedules, and design deliverables across multiple projects. Review and incorporate client and regulatory agency comments into design documents. Ensure designs align with project budgets, schedules, and applicable solid waste regulations. Participate in internal and external design reviews and technical working sessions.
