Our well-established, engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Designer to support land development projects through technical drafting, site design support, and permit documentation. This role does
not require professional licensure , providing a great opportunity for design-oriented engineers or technicians to grow within a hands-on, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of grading plans, utility layouts, and site design details.
Produce and revise civil drawings and technical plans using Civil 3D or similar design software.
Support development of stormwater management, erosion control, and utility design plans.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers to incorporate client and regulatory feedback.
Prepare permit packages and technical documentation for municipal and regulatory review.
Perform drafting and design tasks to support project entitlements and construction documents.
Qualifications
3+ years of related experience
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience with CAD and Civil 3D (preferred).
Strong drafting and technical competencies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Interest in land development site design and permitting (preferred).
EIT is preferred but not required.
