Job Description
Rockland Trust is currently seeking a Commercial Banking Business Analyst for our Brockton Liberty Street location. This position reports directly to the Sr. Commercial Banking Financial, Risk & Strategy Manager, who reports to the EVP & Chief Commercial Banking Officer. The primary responsibility is to provide business data analytics in support of Executive Management daily, monthly and quarterly reporting, assist during the annual budget and strategic planning process and support the analysis and reporting of trends and the management of issues impacting the division. Additionally, this position will support various analyses and create executive level presentations. The candidate should be a self-starter with strong analytical skills and possess the ability to disseminate large volumes of data in a concise view.
Responsibilities Include
Analyze large sums of Commercial data and produce management reports to support Key Performance Indicators (KPI), dashboards and matters of importance
Support and assist the annual Commercial Banking financial budgeting process
Support and assist in the Commercial Banking strategic planning process
Support the analytics on strategic initiatives, M&A target reviews and integrations matters
Assist in the creation of executive level presentations to support Commercial Banking business needs
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of banking or financial experience and/or data / financial analytics experience
Proficient in all Microsoft applications - With an emphasis in Excel
Experience with Tableau
Experience with Salesforce.com
Familiarity with Loan & Deposit Systems (i.e. Horizon / IBS)
Ability to interpret large sums of information from internal and external sources and concisely format it into an executive level presentation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to work effectively within the Commercial team and across all areas of the bank
Personal initiative and the ability to work independently
Ability to hold in confidence highly sensitive information
Dependable, trustworthy, respectful and of high integrity
Intellectual curiosity to recommend new ways of doing tasks
