Job Summary This is a full‑time role based in St. Louis, Missouri. We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our team. This role bridges sales operations and accounting, and is responsible for managing customer invoicing, closing internal work orders, handling purchase orders, and accurately tracking sales commissions. The ideal candidate has a solid background in accounting, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP or accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Invoicing

Prepare and send invoices based on work orders, sales orders, or contracts.

Ensure all invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with accounting standards.

Internal Work Order Closure

Monitor, review, and close internal work orders in collaboration with operations.

Verify all required work has been completed and documented properly.

Calculate and track sales commissions per transaction based on predefined structures.

Work closely with finance and sales teams to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Purchase Order (PO) Management

Create purchase orders for inventory, materials, or subcontracted services.

Receive and reconcile incoming purchase orders with vendor invoices and delivery receipts.

Accounting Support

Assist with month‑end closing tasks related to sales and purchasing.

Ensure proper general ledger coding for sales, purchases, and commissions.

Reconcile discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and actual costs.

System & Data Management

Maintain accurate records in accounting, ERP, or CRM systems.

Generate reports and dashboards to support decision‑making.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in accounting, sales operations, or related roles.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).

Experience with invoicing, PO management, and commission tracking.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
