Group Details Tradeweb is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to help support and build a Brokerage CD Underwriting Desk. This role will assist in providing funding solutions for banks through brokered Certificates of Deposits as an alternative funding channel. The individual must have a track record in the capital market space with a reputation for sound judgement and strong risk management skills. With the ability to communicate and build relationships, recognize new business opportunities, and help drive growth.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end issuance process for Brokered CDs, ensuring proper documentation, settlement and regulatory compliance

Support the onboarding of issuing banks – obtaining necessary legal documentation and risk approvals

Work closely with the sales team to establish and maintain relationships with issuing banks

Monitor market conditions, funding trends, and competitive activity to provide actionable market insights to inform decision-making

Assist in maintaining accurate transaction records and reporting

Work with internal teams to help build and maintain CD New Issuance platform

Help drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in CD Underwriting and building relationships with issuing banks

Understanding of the full lifecycle of the Brokerage CD underwriting process

Established relationships with issuing banks

Series 7 & 63 preferred

Series 24 a plus

Strong financial acumen

Strategic thinking and crisis management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Visionary mindset to align with the company’s long-term goals

Ability to work with internal sales teams and external issuing banks

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $175,000 per year, based on a regular, full‑time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
