
Pella of Columbus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade/Commercial Sales Specialist to support our Outside Sales Representatives and Commercial Team. This role plays a key part in driving growth by building relationships with architects, supporting project quoting and estimating, and generating new opportunities through outbound calls and appointment setting.
This individual will assist with reviewing project specifications, developing estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, and helping execute strategies that contribute to the overall success of the Trade/Commercial segment. Ongoing training and development are an essential part of this role, with the expectation to grow into broader responsibilities within Trade/Commercial and Architectural Sales functions.

Build and develop relationships with architects to generate future window and door sales opportunities. Coordinate and schedule architectural meetings, including Lunch & Learn presentations. Review blueprints and specifications, complete project take-offs, and assist in preparing accurate estimates. Obtain labor estimates from subcontractors and incorporate them into proposals as needed. Assist with product information, pricing, and specification support during the quoting process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and customer information in Salesforce. Develop extensive product knowledge and proficiency in the Pella Quoting System. Manage territory research, including identifying accounts, contacts, and potential business opportunities. Learn and execute the Pella Sales Process to help develop strong value propositions for customers. Complete follow-up communication expectations to ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Success Factors

College degree preferred Valid driver’s license with a company-compliant driving record Ability to lift and carry sales tools weighing up to 50 pounds Computer proficiency with ability to navigate CRM systems and quoting software Ability and willingness to participate in ongoing training and development Ability to review construction documents, blueprints, and specifications preferred Performance Expectations & Metrics
Schedule approximately 2 meetings per day and complete 10 outbound calls daily Maintain bid calendar and complete quotes within project due dates Schedule and attend at least one architectural Lunch & Learn per week Contribute to Trade/Commercial team quote and booking goals Support generation of opportunities that lead to team growth and revenue Industry leading benefit package including:
