Overview
ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO). In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You’ll attend our award-winning training program and join a sales team that works with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, providing high-quality benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. Daily, you will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes across stages, document them, and guide deals through implementation until they are up and running. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy.
Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help clients understand and solve real business needs; earn referral business by networking with existing and prospective clients and forging partnerships with decision-makers in-person and over the phone.
Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell cloud-based HR solutions and cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
Collaborate Daily: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and networks while upholding high ethical standards.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE (Required Qualifications)
Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, comfortable with cold calling, good time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and clear communication.
Strategic Closer: Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; track record of closing sales and managing a territory.
Proven Winner: Ambitious, thrives under pressure, motivated to hit and exceed quotas.
Education and Experience
A college degree is not required; relevant experience is valued. If no college degree, acceptable alternatives include:
Three years of B2B sales experience (preferably field sales) in a results-driven environment.
Military experience with teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a never-lose mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
Benefits and Compensation Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Some positions may include bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation range for this role is USD $56,100.00 - USD $121,500.00 per year.
