
A leading Real Estate practice group in Washington, D.C. is seeking a
Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
to support complex transactions across a diverse portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys substantive work, fast‑moving deal flow, and close collaboration with attorneys and clients. Responsibilities Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews and prepare related summaries and supporting documents Draft estoppels, SNDAs, releases, notices, and other transaction materials Coordinate directly with title agents, surveyors, zoning contacts, and clients Support attorneys with due diligence, closing binders, organizational documents, and entity formations Assist with lease amendments, assignments, and other commercial real estate documents Maintain closing checklists, key date lists, execution packages, and post‑closing deliverables Manage DocuSign workflows and electronic/physical filing systems Review recordable documents and flag diligence issues Provide support on matters involving commercial real estate, hospitality assets, joint ventures, and M&A Qualifications 1–2+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience Strong background in title, survey, and zoning review (Big Law experience a plus) Experience with acquisitions and entity formations preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, Kofax PDF, and Litera Compare Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently Comfortable working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Work Structure No annual billable requirement; paralegals bill 7.5 hours/day Limited overtime, primarily around closings
