
Requirement/Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Excellent phlebotomy skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations as required.
Keyboard and data entry experience.
Experience:
Experience performing clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.
Experience verifying patient demographic information and specimen labeling accuracy.
Experience maintaining required records and documentation.
Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily specimen collection and processing activities accurately and on time.
Draw blood specimens in a safe, skillful, and accurate manner.
Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Verify patient identification and labeling accuracy post-venipuncture.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence.
Comply with company policies and procedures including health, safety, and dress code standards.
Support staffing needs including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required.
