Role Overview The Structural Designer will support multi-disciplinary engineering projects, contributing to concept development, detailed design, 3D modeling, equipment layout, structural steel modeling, foundation design support, and construction drawing packages. This role is ideal for a technical design professional who thrives in a collaborative EPCM environment and enjoys solving industrial project challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 2D and 3D structural designs and models for industrial facilities, including steel structures, platforms, foundations, and equipment supports.

Support senior engineers in preparing structural plans, sections, details, and material take-offs.

Produce construction-ready drawing packages in alignment with internal quality standards and industry codes.

Assist with structural steel assessments, code compliance documentation, and integration with process, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.

Coordinate with vendors for equipment data integration and specification support.

Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and field verification activities.

Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and safety requirements.

Education & Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field.

3-10 years of experience in structural design for industrial or manufacturing facilities (EPCM experience preferred).

Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools (experience with industrial platforms strongly preferred).

Understanding of applicable structural codes, standards, and industrial work environments.

Strong communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments in a fast-paced project setting.

Preferred Experience

Experience with heavy industrial markets such as building products, roofing, metals, composites, gypsum, cement, minerals, or similar sectors.

Familiarity with process facilities, packaging plants, or utilities/master planning environments.

Exposure to EPCM project workflows, modular/skid design, or construction support environments.

Competitive base salary between

$120,000 and $150,000
