
Overview
Corpay is hiring a Permit & Compliance Customer Service Representative within the Over the Road Compliance Division. This position is part of the NAT line of business and is located in Nashville, TN. You will be responsible for processing state, county, and city government permit requests from a defined customer base, via phone or online portal. You will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Role Responsibilities
Processing and supporting customer orders and inquiries using efficient routing methods, while advising on possible cost-saving opportunities. Processing Trip/Fuel or Oversize/Overweight permits by entering applications into the permit processing system; providing required information to state governments to obtain approval, based on information collected during inbound customer calls. Handling direct phone inquiries, correcting errors when needed, and following through on all processed applications to ensure timely delivery according to customer expectations and industry standards. Resending previously issued permits and proactively informing customers of the status of their permit orders. Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of related customer service and call center experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey service offerings and functionality Superior customer service skills with the ability to respond quickly and professionally to customer issues Proficient phone and computer skills; ability to answer and manage inbound calls, make outbound calls, and coordinate with various departments and clients Ability to use, navigate, and route trips using online mapping systems (e.g., Bing Maps, Google Maps) Benefits & Perks
