Residential Architectural CAD Drafter

Position Overview As a CAD Drafter, you’ll help translate architectural ideas into accurate, code‑compliant construction drawings. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure every detail supports both design intent and practical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software
Interpret design specs, building codes, and technical documents
Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design issues
Revise and update plans based on feedback and project changes
Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and meet industry standards
Stay updated on drafting tools, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
Associate degree or certification in Architectural Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Solid understanding of residential construction and building codes
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
