area is seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to oversee commercial projects across
retail, restaurant, shopping centers, and general commercial construction .
This is a long-term opportunity with a growing contractor that values leadership in the field, quality workmanship, and strong project execution.
The Role As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered
on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards .
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site construction operations from start to finish
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
Maintain project schedules and enforce milestones
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards
Conduct daily site walks and progress meetings
Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy
Communicate effectively with Project Managers and ownership
Resolve field issues and proactively mitigate delays
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a
Superintendent
with a
Commercial General Contractor
Proven background in
retail, restaurant, shopping center, or commercial projects
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedules
Excellent leadership and communication skills
OSHA certification preferred
Procore or similar construction management software experience a plus
